Mayhaw jelly is a unique Southern treat that you've probably never tried before! With a harvest season of only about 3 weeks, Mayhaw berries are found in the swamps of South Georgia and make for a sweet-tart jelly that is wonderful on everything from biscuits to roasted pork! These berries are highly prized and make for a tasty jelly that is usually saved for special occasions, but once you taste it you'll want to use it every day!

    Mayhaw and homemade biscuits...MMM MMM

Posted by JD on 9th Oct 2014

I live in the northern part of the country and we can't get mayhaw jelly here so I ordered some from Mercier Orchard. I have heard very good things about mayhaw and wanted to try it for myself. WOW was it ever good. I made homemade biscuits to put it on and it is some of the best jelly that I've ever eaten. If you haven't tried mayhaw, do yourself a favor and git you some!

Being from the north, I have heard about mayhaw jelly but was never able to try it. I contacted Mercier Orchards and had some shipped to me. It is the best jelly that I have ever had.
If you have never tried mayhaw jelly, I suggest you get some. You won't be sorry.

First time I've tried this because I'd never heard of it before. As with most jellies, the taste is mild and a bit sweet but good. I'd buy this again.
